When Chanel produces something in stick form, chances are high I like it. 😄
This year there was another Collection with stick Eyeshadows. I have purchased at least one from every Collection that had them so far, and was never disappointed. In fact, they got better every year. At first they were mostly glitter, like a stick version of the Illusion d’Ombres, but they became more and more opaque.
This year they released lots of great colors, but the one I needed was the Stylo Eyeshadow in 177 Rose Petale. I’ve been wanting a soft pink for a long time, somehow this color is harder to come by than you’d think. Anyway this collection isn’t new, so I apologize if you can’t get them anymore. But if you find some, I can recommend all the colors.
Swatch of Rose Petale in the shade.
Swatch of Rose Petale in sunlight. The color is a light pink, lighter and less salmon than the one from the last collection. But there’s still a clear yellow undertone to it. The color contains soft shimmer, but no sparkle.
As ususal, the color is easy to apply, but you need to be quick with blending. It lasts extremely well on my lids, eight hours for sure (of course with such a light color often you simply don’t notice the creasing).
I remain a fan of these Stylo Eyeshadows.
