These are two coats of OPI Dating a Royal, a blue jelly, plus one coat of L’Oreal Confettis Top Coat plus one coat of Essie Good to Go.
The same deal on the other hand.
Dating a Royal is a wonderful jelly. On its own it would have needed three coats. I meant to do a jelly sandwich, but after I applied Confettis I didn’t want to cover the white.
Confettis is smaller and bigger white and black hex glitter in a clear base that also has very small sparkly gitter in. I had to dab it on where I wanted it, because when dragging the brush across the nail I would lose all the glitter at the beginning. It works well like that, you get lots of glitter on the brush. The big downside of this top coat is that it dries matte. While I like matte finish in general, it didn’t work out so well here. Since I didn’t drag the polish over the whole nail, but dabbed it in places, my manicure was spotty – high shine gloss from Dating a Royal in some places, and matte in others. This is why I had to add another glossy top coat.
