The Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks were added to Bobbi Brown’s permanent line up not too long ago. They reminded me of my MAC Shadesticks, which were a limited edition some time ago.
Top: MAC Shadestick in Butternutty; Middle: Bobbi Brown Cream Shadow stick in Sand Dune; Bottom: MAC Shadestick in Tundra.
The Bobbi stick is a little longer, it also contains 1,6 g product, while the Shadesticks contain 1,5 g.

The concept is easy, you drag this over your lid, blend a little, done. what’s not to love?
Color swatches in sunlight. Left to right: Sand Dune, Tundra, Butternutty
Sand Dune has very little shimmer, not noticeable, especially not next to those shiny lines. Quality wise, the Shadesticks go on creamy, but drag a little on the lid. Bobbi Brown goes on much creamier and easier. The Bobbi Brown stick is long wear and truly does last a work day. The Shadesticks crumble into the crease after three to four hours. The only bad thing about the Bobbi Brown stick is that the brown looks reddish on my lid, making me look sick and tired. I picked the one single shade out of the whole line up that doesn’t flatter me! *sigh* I really wanted the rosy gold shade, but didn’t take it on account that it was too close to Butternutty here. The good thing is of course, they are not a collection, they are here to stay so I can pick it up anytime.
